Set gopher traps as below: Rio Ruidoso River Ruidoso Hwy 37 School (several sets) Bar X several sets near River N 0.5 mi. Hwy 70 hills X several sets in hills Exact localities: (School) = 0.8 mi. S, 2.7 mi. E Ruidoso, 6500 ft. (Hills) = 1.0 mi. S, 3.7 mi. E Ruidoso, 6700 ft. (Bar) = 0.3 mi. S, 3.8 mi. E Ruidoso, 6400 ft. We checked and rechecked traps all day. I caught 1 gopher at the School site. We left the traps out for the night.
