Found very large Sceloporus magister near ruins by trap set. Set out 350 live traps, 250 parallel to dirt road and 100 heading 3 from juster junction of dirt roads (see map.) Very windy now with clouds of dust over lake.
1500 returned to camp and put up animals until about 2100. Clear, cold night, calm. Moon rose about 0200,
Low temp. ~ 15-20°F.

0500 arose and checked traps:
Snap traps: West line: 1 D. microps
2 M. pallidus
East line: 1 D microps
2 M. megacephalus
Live traps:
hocality = 6 mi. N, 27 mi. W Hiko, 4800 ft. Lincoln Co., Nevada.
5 P. maniculatus (3 let go)
4 D. micrurus
2 D. ordii
5 M. pallidus
1 A. leucurus
1 Onychomys sp.
4 of the 5 Micro's were caught near the dunes at the extreme East of the dirt road (not close to the lake).
The vegetation consisted of Atriplex, Chryso., Tetradymia,
and Sarcobatus - fairly sparse. Fine, wind-blown sand.
