(CONT) -(trapping results cont.) 28 - Perig. long. semi-torpid - S-2' from larvae. traps 26-31 same gnil habitat as 14-19 and 20-25. - 1/4 mi E.of Highway 395 on Trona Cutoff. 2:00 PM - reached high temp. of approx. 80° slight breeze in P.M. Noted presence of many Leognathus diggings and unusual number of Turantella 'P?' Spiders. 7:00 PM. Set same traps using same bait as before. (See map.) Sun set approx. 7:30, moon-rise 8:00 PM. Scales station dirt road (Campsite #1) slight hill ↑N - - - Johannesburg Rd. 35-31 R.R. tracks 19-24 13-18 7-12 1-6 ↓ to Johannesburg 7 mi. 8:30 PM - On return to camp, noted Dipodomys and young running in front of car - these are first 'Dipo's' seen this trip.
