Journal Hyner, M.S. 1975 Vicinity of Winnemucca, Humboldt Co., Nevada. 6 September (cont.) results: 7.0 mi. N Winnemucca, 4600 ft. Humboldt Co., Nevada. Got results from D.J. & J.C. 5.5 mi. S. Winnemucca, 4300 ft. Humboldt Co., Nevada. J.C. Hyner found what appears to be the dentary of an Antilocapra at this last locality. "Dune Buggies" at the 1st locality had destroyed 3 Sherman traps. 1130 ate breakfast at the truck stop ~4 mi. S. Winnemucca. We then re-distributed the animals (micros to J. and D. and Pewg. to me). John and I road together in the Mazda to allow some time to talk over the Accipitrid paper currently in progress. Ken and Dave were in the Datsun. We headed S. on US 80 to the turnoff to Fallon. Dave's car was apparently having radiator problems making the trip slow and hot. At the turnoff to Hwy 95 we sped up once more. Dave and John headed S. to trap in Deep Springs.
