I brought back all D. peninsularis
for lab work [and 20 Perognathus maniculatus]
[We noted many Dipylon (Thomsons) diggings at
every locality]
1000 - We drove to Mojave and had breakfast.
David left Mojave at 1130 - and we headed
for L.A. Eden.

I left L.A. 0645 and drove to each of the
7 localities (for my master's project). I measured
soil compactness and soil color. Arrived back
in Los Angeles 1730.

1000 Arrived this locality with Brothers John
and David Haynes and Ken Ramsey. Hiked
perhaps [not?] ?
southeast of main road to [Long-tree Creek].
noted many signs of Dipodonyx and
Perognathus burrows on sparsely vegetated
hilltops along the way. Warm, windy day.
