Attripley and Thayers community - fine sand on N.Westernmost set and loose gravel on other sets. Full moon, calm, cold night. (No beer!) 24 March Vicinity: 30 mi. N.W. Hiko, Lincoln Co. 4750' Nevada 0800 Arose and checked traps. Results: 1 Thomomys bottae 1 D. ordii 2/300 = -2% Success 0930 picked-up camp and drove to Dry Lake Valley (other trap set). Along Hwy 93 in Dry Lake Valley noted Adult Golden Eagle on Telephone Pole 50 meters from road. On dirt road to trapping locality we stopped and hunted for ~45 min for Sylvilagus in rocks near road. (no success) We set 4 gopher traps to be checked on way out, large rocky outcropping W. of dirt road had what appeared to be a Prairie Falcon nest in crevice. (Couldn't quite reach nest, but sighted Prairie Falcon in rough vicinity (actually several miles away). Sighted Sylvilagus, collected Uta stansburiana and noted much evidence
