Journal Dafner, M.S. 1975 12 mi. S. Harrison, Millard Co., Utah results: 8 Peromyscus maniculatus 1 Onychomys leucogaster (very large) 1 Dipodomys microps Success = 10/200 = 5% Clear, calm, cold day. J.C. and D.J. collected Adult and juv. Coyote (Canis latrans) skulls from skins hung on fences nearby trapping locality. We stopped at a large, old cabin to look for bats. Noted Great Horned owl and collected pellets nearby house. Saw several Flickers (Colaptes) and Magpies in area. Also, one Red-tailed Hawk across road from cabin. The old log cabin was partially wall-papered with old newspaper dating back to 1892-3. Upon return to Harrison sighted several Ducks (sp?) in small labe. (Press lake). Ammoperiphilus clay road. 1100- Packed-up and drove NW on Hwy 73 to Baker, Nevada. Had very nice breakfast near an old stone chimney then got back on US 6-50 and turned south on US. 93. Drove by Panaca to Caliente, Nevada - got gas and continued westwardly.
