Journal Heflin, M.S. 1975 23 March [con't] Vicinity SW of Provo, Utah. Rough-legged Hawks, Marsh Hawks, and one Golden Eagle. We gassed up the Van in Eureka, Utah. The weather was mostly overcast with high NWly winds and blowing snow. 1400 - Ate lunch in Delta, Utah then continued W on US 6-50. We turned south just before the Utah-Nevada border and stopped in Harrison, Utah. Procured lodging, groceries and information at the general store in Harrison then went 10 mi. S on Hwy 21, turned SW on a dirt road ~ 2 mi to the trapping locality. 12 mi. S. Harrison, Millard Co., Utah. 1800- set out 200 traps in Chrysanthemum, Artemisia tridentata community. (2 lines of 100 - E of dirt road) We noted numerous Badger (Taxidea) diggings in area - one very fresh hole had fleas hopping on the fresh earth nearby. 1930 - began to snow lightly - we finished setting traps and returned to cabin in Harrison. 23 March 12 mi. S. Harrison, Millard Co. Utah. 0800 - Arose and checked traps with following results!
