While at Sand Canyon, a man drove up
in a white pick-up and asked what we
were “up to”. It turns out that he knows
Dick Frisan²? at the L.A. Co. Museum and
Dick has been trapping on this guy's
property for the last several months. He
gave us his card and asked us to clear
it with him before we trapped again. He
said Frisan is trapping all up & down
Sand Canyon - I can't see why. The
guy also said that there are loads of
Indian burial sites along the canyon, but
that he hides them so that people won't
bother them (or him).
