arrived at 2100. The sky was clear and there
was a light, cool breeze. [Temp. and Rel. Humid.
as per chart]. At approx. 1300 a group of people
in several "Vans" arrived near our camp. They
talked very loudly [in the still night] and
proceeded to make camp about 100 yards from
us. [They had noticed us]. They talked from
car to car via loudspeakers and laughed and
shouted while shooting shotguns. It was
an appalling ordeal, and we finally moved
camp a few miles East. [We could still hear
the shotguns and music being played over the
loudspeakers]. The night was rather hectic.
