Last night (18-19 Oct.) we caught only
1 D. merriami in the "McNeil Type" traps.
Last night (19-20 Oct.) we caught no
D. merriami in McNeil type traps. (I
believe the kit fox visited each trap
and removed any captured animal).
The A.L. was captured in the
Larrea association as were 2 of the P. longimembris.
One P. longimembris was semi-torpid; The
night was rather cold.
1000- We collected traps and headed
for L.A. All D. merriami were taken
to the lab for study.

Darcely, Barron and I left L.A. ~ 1830
and met Dave near Sand Canyon ~ 2030. (Diane
was sick and couldn't make the trip) The
sky was overcast, and the night was cold
and windy. We drove to a locality just
