Journal Hafner, M.S. 1974 18 October 11.8 E. Boron San Bernardino Co., 2500 ft. California Darcy, Barron, Paul Rubin, Casey Claus and I left L.A at ~1815. (They went in separate car.) We arrived just S. of Mojave ~1945 where we released ~34 Dipodomys which had been used in previous tests. We arrived at the trapping site ~2100 and immediately began setting out 207 traps as below. US.395 North Boron ~6.0 mi. Four Corners US.58 The kit Fox noted last week at this locale was seen on numerous occasions this night. We went to sleep approximately 0130. The sky was clear, no moon ~60°F. calm; occasional very light breezes. 19 October 11.8 mi. E. Boron San Bernardino Co., 2500 ft California We arose at 0630 and checked traps with following results:
