trapped in a sugurbal area on the
perimeter of Cummings Valley. We captured:
6 Diprodontys agilis
1 Reithrodontmys (megalotis)
We're not sure yet how this fits in with
previous data, however we have yet
many more apparently suitable locales
to check.
1230- We proceeded into Mojave - along
the way David collected a Bubo
skull from a road kill east of
monolith. We ate lunch in Mojave and
proceeded to Camp 1.

for camp 1)
1500 We arrived here and walked up to
the Jepson diggings S of camp. There
had been rain in the last few weeks
and none of the Jepson wounds looked
very fresh. We noticed a horned lizard
