Vicinity S. of Yerington, Lyon Co. Nevada
saw the Antilocapra (this time 2 does)
in the same canyon 7 mi. NE Fletcher.
They again showed curiosity and
stopped to watch us.
1000 We arrived at the trapping site
and checked traps:
17 mi. S., 5 mi. E Yerington, 5000 ft,
Lyon Co. Nevada.
Results:
8 Dipodomys merriami
1 Onychomys leucogaster
1 D. ordii
3 D. microps
1 Perognathus longimembris
1 Ammospermophilus leucurus
Success:
15/190 = 8%
Apparently the very minor change
in habitat between this locality and
that of the previous night's
trapping explains the fact that we
caught no M. pallidus here and caught
12 m. pallidus only 400 m away from
