Nevada 12 Dipodomys merriami 18 D. merriami 7 D. ordii 12 Microdipodops pallidus 12 Perognathus longimembris Success = 61/305 = 20% We released all but the microdipodops, which will be used for John's study. On our return trip to Pine Grove (camp) we noted a burrowing owl (Speotyto) alongside the road perched on a small mound of dirt. We spent the day skinning the Microdipodops - (we also collected ecto- parasites and sperm samples.) 1400- We decided to set 190 traps in the near vicinity of where we trapped last night and ~ 115 traps in the Alkali Lake area (to catch M. megacephalus).
