from known micropodops populations to the south by rocky (low) mountains and the East Walker River.
[neither locality had dense vegetation - only Atelypes, Antimima, Chrys]
1800 - We drove into Yerington where I called Ducey about 1830. We bought some bread a beer and camped outside of Yerington in the hills just northwest of town.
On the road toward Yerington we noted an Old Coyote cross the road and an [illegible] owl.
17 September

0700 We arose, broke camp and drove into Yerington where we bought provisions, gas, and headed south along the east side of the river to check our trap lines. We checked the traps on the east side of the river first. Results:
