NE of Hwy 58, (cont) 5.5 mi ESE of Edison, Kern Co., California 760' (T30S, R30E, SW1/4 sec 17) After checking traps we broke camp and drove to Los Angeles via, Hwy 5 (Tejon Pass). 17 July Sand Canyon, 0.4 mi N of Hwy 58, 2.9 mi EXS W ESE of Monolith, Kern Co., California 3949' (T32S, R34E, NW1/4 sec 27) 1630 - Dacey left work early and we drove to Mojave (3 mi. N) where we released 12 animals with which we had finished experimentation. We reached the trapping locality @ 6:00 PM and began setting traps at 2 localities: Locality (F): Sand Canyon, 0.1 mi.
