Checked traps with following results: 103 Perognathus longimembris 6 Perognathus formosus 9 Dipodomys merriami 9 Dipodomys panamintinus 1 Neotoma lepida 3 Ammospermophilus leucurus 4 Onychomys torridus Long-nosed snake (Rhinocleilus lecontei) Trapping Success: 126/ = 70% 194 The Neotoma's den was in an old Badger hole which was filled with sticks to the level of the ground. 0800 - We broke camp and headed for Mojave to get some sleep in the cool parks (the temp. already this morning was in the high 80's° F.) 1500 - We drove over the Tehachipi pass and camped at sunset in Caliente Creek Wash.
