Our purpose is to live-catch "pure" D. paramitinus for chromosome comparison with "pure" D. heermanni from near Buherfield. We will also take back several D. merrisoni and compare their activity periods with those of D.P. to see if there is a temporal split between the activity periods of these two sympatric species.
