Success: 37 Microdipodops megecephalus 3 Peromyscus sp. 40/ = 23.8 % 168 These Microdipodops were taken home alive and used in conjunction with our swimming ability studies. During the remainder of the morning we measured vegetation density in a 3 m. walk. radius circle around 20 successful traps and 20 unsuccessful (no catch) traps. When later analyzed, this data showed no significant difference between vegetation densities around the successful vs. unsuccessful traps. 1000 AM. We broke camp and drove to a camp E. of Yerington. We stopped in a town along the way and each ate ½ of a watermelon) - the weather was extremely warm. (Hawthorn, Nevada)
