Very strong wind, we established camp.
1700- set out 126 snap and 81 live traps
as per map:

Traps were set approx. 5 meters apart.
1930- Upon returning to camp, I noted a
sidewinder rattlesnake (8" long)
from camp in a large cactus directly
beneath Joshua tree - I captured
it in the lizard snare and moved
it 10 meters away to avoid future
encounters. The wind continued all
night, no moon. High 65° F., low 40+° F.
