fuscipes, 5 Peromyscus sp.
-> NOTE: 21 traps were apparently stolen.
they were systematically removed,
definitely not misplaced. So, actually
only [illegible] 79 traps were checked:
Success 17/79 = 21%
These animals were given to brother
John Hafner for the collection of Texas
Tech. University.

Golf Course small brushy canyon. 300' L.A
County, Calif.
3:00 PM. Darcy and A set 83 live traps
and 10 snap traps in various sets up
small canyon (200 yds deep.)
30 Dec. Small Canyon opposite entrance to De Bell
Golf Course, Burbank, Calif.
7:00 AM John arrived here last night.
We checked traps this morning catching
only 1 Reithrodontomys sp. no explanation
(results: 1/43 = 1% success) for poor
catch
