of soil frozen. Checked traps with
following results:
12 Dipodomys merriami
14 Dipodomys panamintinus
10 Perognathus longimembris
2 Perognathus formosus
2 Peromyscus maniculatus
1 Ammospermophilus leucurus
trapping success: 4/113 = 35%
Occasional sunshine through day - temp.
varied from 40°F in shade to 57°F
in direct sun.
5:00 PM - Heavy rain lasted for 1½ hours.
