Summary Northwest Coast Transact, Calif.
jays were quite abundant, their groups were
frequently encountered and each group consisted
of ten to fifteen individuals. On Waterman
Ridge, in 4 miles, I must have encountered
no less than six groups along the ridge
crest. jays at Red Mtn were still in
groups, were not so frequently encountered
and had a completely different set of calls
as above noted.
