several and I got these two. My two were
from the large burned oak trees.

Photo.
Masticophis Saw a
large uncolored specimen dash across
the west trail up to the tower. Not caught.
Continued west on Mex. Hwy. 80 to our
second locality for the day which was 6.7 miles
E. Ciudad del Maiz, San Luis Potosi via Mex.
Hwy. 80.
The upper part of the area worked
was park-like oak forest on the west
facing slope through which the hwy. ran.
The lower part of the area was an open acacia
field & pasture with boulders bordering it
on one side as a fence and on the other
side (south side) as a fringe along
the hwy. There were boulders, mainly
lava, throughout the entire area.
