both on the ground and in trees. Ameiva I'm and I each saw one. Cnemidophorus Saw several. Phrynosoma venulosus: Sam got two - the larger specimen from an elephant ear leaf and the smaller specimen from the only an elephant ear troneliad. El Salto San Luis Potosi - just north of Mex. Hwy 80 along the Rio Valles and near the base of the now dry falls (the water has at least been partially diverted by the nearby power plant such that the falls are completely dry during the dry season). Eleutherodactylus Sam got one under a stone in a damp back water in Rio Valles below the falls area. Tadpoles Sam got several from a back water with water. I got a larger one from a small creek flowing through a limited quick sandy pool area.
