Where I believe we got off is marked by a B on the map. Here there were tank bromeliads, oaks, raspberries, etc. [illegible] we looked into several bromeliads & then started back down the road. The following were collected along the way. 23-24 Chiropterotriton chondrostega Sam got five, Jim one and Philip and I each one, Three last are catalogued here. These specimens were all taken from tank bromeliads. Sam got two specimens in one tank bromeliad. Drymobius Saw one as we began the ascent from the valley into the Sierra Madre. Sceloporus variabilis: Sam got three and one more when he went back to look for his machete in the valley between Sierra de los Mangos and the Sierra Madre, On the rocks in the leaf litter along the side of the road. Scincella siuicolum: Sam got one & I saw another in the leaf litter along the side of the road. Arolis Sam got one in the valley between the Sierra de los Mango & the Sierra Madre as I ran across the road.
