car. Between Falcon & Roma we even cut Sam's home (photo) but to no avail. We stopped at two roadside rests between Hondo and Roma los Saez and at each locality one Cnemidophorus sexlineatus was shot. The first was shot by zapata Co. Sam approx. 1 mile N. Lopeno, Lael The Second was shot by me approximately 6 miles NW Roma Los Saez, Starr Co both on Hwy 83. 4 Cnemidophorus sexlineatus : approx. 6 miles N.W. Roma los Saez, Starr Co, Texas via Hwy 83. After the setback at Roma we decided to head into Brownsville. Stopped at Rio Grande City to call Alice Landauer & let her know our problem and then proceeded on to Bentsen-Rio Grande State Park which is S.W. of Mission on Hwy 83. On the way there we stopped at the following two localities and collected. (1.) 0.6 miles W. by Hwy 374 of Perezville (measured from the junction Hwy 374 and farm rd. 1427) or 2.4 miles W. by Hwy 374 g Palmview (measured from the junct. of Hwy 374 and farm road 2062). Hidalgo Co. The locality is the S.E side of a canal & road. There is much trash & debris on a
