Picked up Hwy 83 out of Carrizo Springs and took it all the way u to laredo. Picked up a Dor Crotalus atrox 57.2 miles ~~ SE of Carrizo Springs by road on Hwy 83. Time 9:15 PM 10:00-10:30 PM as Had dinner at La Mexicana restaurant in laredo: a local Mexican family affair This was very good. Drove our worth of town on I-35 + Hwy 83 to the first rest stop to spend the night. Wind blowing a steady Southwest as seems to be usual in these parts. 27 April Awoke at 7:30 AM and were on the road back into Laredo at 8:10 AM Got a couple of photographs of a Scissor-tailed Fly catcher. Drove into Laredo for breakfast and after doing some shopping we headed for Nuevo Laredo and the border. We got turned down, however, because of no metal license on the car. Sam also got turned back due to his long hair. After this rejection we head southeast along the border hoping to get u at one of the many border crossings. We tried Falcon and Roma los Saenz but got turned back at each place because of improper liscence of the
