20 July - 21 July 362 of Arivechi. Also picked up a Phrynosara Solare 4.4 miles South of Sahuarita Son. (ly rd.) I had dinner at the same hotel on the night of the 19th. Took off late this afternoon back over one road to Mazata & Hernandez Camped somewhere west of Barnori and had just a few sprinkles during the night There were more mosquitoes than any other night. Took a photograph of the Barnori valley & the town itself. 21 July Up at 6:00 but didn't get off until about 7:15 PM Continued west on the same road. Stopped at a point 13.0 miles E. El Novillo, Son. (ly road). The area is a small east flowing arroyo where stopped to look for gophers. Saw no gophers but did get to see the following lizards. Hyla arenicola: J.W. claims to have seen tadpoles of this species in the arroyo. 363 Kinosternon sonoriense: J.W. found the shell and partial skeleton (including the skull) of a specimen. 364 Sceloporus clarki male SVL=104 mm; TL=125 (in life). Gular area turquoise blue surrounded by black - black continues closely to front of shoulders to rest of partial collar. Behind belly patch also turquoise blue, bordered medially by black, and ventral area immaculate; sides & tail light turquoise blue.
