Continued on east on Hwy 277 through Eagle Pass and on the road between Eagle Pass and Carrizo Springs we found the following Phrynosoma both AOR and DOR. (1.) 23.7 miles W. Carrizo Springs but in Maverick Co. DOR but kept for a specimen. (2.) 13.8 miles W. Carrizo Springs Center, Dimmit Co.: a specimen AOR which was kept and a DOR individual not retained. (3.) 11.8 miles W. Carrizo Springs Center, Dimmit Co. DOR but saved. It would appear from this afternoon's results and from yesterday afternoon's results that Phrynosoma like to bask at the edge of the road during the late afternoon.
