Huasabas which is mainly an agricultural area
between the town and the Rio. Got the following:
hunting the fence runs & along the road.
Sceloporus clarki - on the big
cottonwoods & tamarisk trees lining the road
down to the river. Some collected.

Uraurus ornatus: one of a
fence post along the road.
Cnemidophorus sonorae: John got 2
Cnemidophorus opatae: John, Philip & 2
get about 10 - 5 frogs & 5 kept alive. Young out.

Phrynosoma solare: John got one with
snake at the base of a fence post.
Found the sheltering a Spemophilus versatus
in a hollow tree. Also a large white click
bee in mid longitudinal hack studies.
Left Huasabas about 1:30 pm and
drove to Moctezuma where we had references and
then on into Hermosillo where we arrived about
7:00 pm Saw several Crotaphytus collaris along
the road SW of Moctezuma and picked up a
salman pit Masticophis flagellum DOR just
cast of the junction of Mex. Hwy 15 & The (Mex. Hwy. 21)
Moctezuma - Ures - Hermosillo road on that latter
road. Specimen has faint crossbands anteriorly.
