Thamnophis cyrtopsis - one small
specimen from the upper edge of the flood
plain.
Masticophis bilineatus - one seen, not collected.
Went back into Moctezuma for lunch
at the hotel. After lunch took the road
east to Huasabas and Granados where we
crossed the Rio Bavispe and continued
east on the road to Nacozari Chico. Got
catched in a big [illegible] rain storm as we reached
the crest of the mountains east of the Rio
Bavispe. Rained off and on through the rest
of the evening.
Stopped at El Coyote for dinner
and then took the road to Huachinera
about 0.4 miles N.E. El Coyote (by road),
Son. It rained continuously as we put
up camp & until about 2:30 PM when it
cleared.

get the first look at the campsite we had
