Postnuptial coloration. See back for description. 136 ♂ Phrynosoma solare - John Wright captured one at the edge of the agricultural field next to the flood plain. When grasped by the neck bends the head back and brings the occipital spines into contact with the fingers. No chromatic coloration at all. 137 Cnemidophorus sonorae - many seen & caught, but all but one taken by John Wright. The single specimen here dried and was fairly "game" when preserved. Found both at the upper edge of the flood plain & around the edge of the fields.
