10 July Axillary areas the sides are yellowish orange. Of post. Axillary patch extends forward over Shoulder and onto sides of neck. 34 Eumeces obsolitus juvenile shot out from under a large dead log surrounded by a lot of woody litter - essentially a Stick pile. Their g stink had just sidled out from under a piece of bark under the dew log to sun. Generally black overall except for a cleek dark blue on the tail which begins abruptly about 1/5" - 1/6" of the way post. From the vent. Light spots on supra ocular area faint w/ pinkish tint; light spots on laterals white. SVL = 40mm ; TL = 51 mm. 35 Callisaurus draconoides shot along a flat, open sandy stretch of the stream bed. Another two seen but not collected. Orange on posterior part of throat and on an area on each side of the chest anterolaterally. Faint yellowish wash posterior to orange chest spot and on sides. SVL = 69 mm.
