24 May 1975 E of where the gravel section of the road begins on 16 miles W. of I-5 along the Del Puerto Canyon Rd. The larger individual was taken 4.0 miles W. of I-5 along the Del Puerto Canyon Rd. Took the Del Puerto Canyon Rd. to the Mines Rd. then north to Livermore. Saw the following DOR2 on the Mines Rd. above Livermore: 2 Pituophis catenifer + 3 Crotalus viridis Also saw lots of Bufo along both roads as soon as it was dark. Addendum: Saw many Sceloporus on edge of road after road was cast in shadows very late in the afternoon. Appeared if the lizards were absorbing the roads heat.
