11 May Arose at 7:00AM and had breakfast. Started west on U.S. Hwy 90 again about 8:00 AM Ran into ground fog for a while, but it cleared later. Picked up Interstate 10 at Van Horn, Texas, which we took west. Lunch w/ Les Caves, New Mex. Stayed on Interstate 10 until Casa Grande, Ariz. when we picked up Interstate 8. Took this to Gila Bend where we got off to night drive the back paved roads between I-8 & I-10 to the north. Phryg 83 Sceloporus magister Got this specimen crossing the road on the Southwest side of Casa Grande, Pinal Co., Ariz. late in the afternoon after dinner. Sam also got a little specimen - we also saw some Cnemidophorus. The following were collected by night driving the area north of Gila Bend and Interstate 8 and south of Interstate 10 Pituophis melanoleucus 7.8 miles N.
