Green 1927. 40. Colorado River 20 miles S. of Pilot Knob Lower Caly, Mex. Oct. 16, 1927 It was just after the evening flight and awfully warm. This seemed unusual for them to set together however. I went to the spot and found nothing which in my mind would attract them. My conclusion is that they were resting on the shady side of the levee as it was cool and in the open where they had clear visions. This was about 30 minutes after sunset.
