7 Steel sets caught nothing.
The set in the road which had no bait had one trap sprung by coyote. The set in the swamp road with deer as bait was also sprung by a raccoon.

Saw two cotton tail rabbits this morning. This afternoon Mr. Lamb and I went out in the row boat; I saw a Gull and numerous ducks, herons, egrets, and two semicollar flycatchers. When I went around my trap line this evening I found one set of three missing. The mepicans stole them; I saw 8 or more nighthawks sitting on the shady side of the leve
