31. Gwen Colorado River 1927 20 miles S of Pilot Knob, Lower Caly Mex. Oct. 14, 1927 The Night Hawks are everywhere at dusk. The bats that were under the tank have changed their resting place to the underside of the outer roof of a nearby bunk house since I scared them out in the day time. A flock of cow- birds flew over at twilight numbering about 50 I shot one and got two we thought they were black birds. The ducks and geese are becoming more and more plentiful every day but they fly high & hide.
