Green 1927 Colorado River Lower Calif., Mex., 20 mi. S. of Pilot Knob Oct. 12, 1927 tracks the railroad bed. Song sparrows are numerous. Blackbirds of both species before mentioned are also numerous. The others I saw and recognized are: Bunch Rock Wren 5. Yellowthroat 1 Lutescant Warbler 1 Song Sparrows — many Great Blue Heron 2 Large White Egret. 2 Sand Hill Crakes, flock of 50 Traveling south overhead. Corncrant 1. Yellow legs 2. Red tailed Hawk 1 Buzzard 3 Great Blue heron several Raven Heard more than elsew. Crow 2. Black Crowned Night Heron. 6 Cooper Hawk 2 Marsh Hawk 1 Sparrow Hawk 3 Barn Swallow — many
