S. of Pilot Knob 31 Oct. 12, 1927 (25 mouse traps caught nothing). 744 Dipodomys ♀ 32 g. 240-130-56-10 Arrow Weed and Dry silt. 745 Onychomys ♂ 20g 140-53-23-15 Arrow weed and dry silt 746 Mus Muculus ♂ 15. g 158-86-19-11 Caught in House. 747 Jay Phoebe 21g Trm♀ On wire, telephone line. 748 Road Runner 357 g. ♂ On railroad track cl hunted in both dry & wet Country today. Judging by tracks there are plenty of large mam- mals around but not so many small mammals. The tracks cl took to be little spotted skunks are Muskrat tracks. As cl walked along the -lence tonight cl saw 2 two muskrat one of which cl shot. They were in the water a bout a foot from the muddy bank. There are small camps of driftwood have and the lence has a foundation of granite rocks.
