N.W. Guinell - 1915 Yosemite, Calif. Squirrel, one Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel and three Long-Eared (?) Chipmunks made frequent excursions from their hiding places in the brush a few feet away to gather in the crumbs, but the sugar lumps were left untouched by all save one individual, a chipmunk. July 13 Flying Squirrel. no. 132 ♀ 252 x 123 x 38 x 15 with skull This squirrel was brought in by Mrs Miller's cat this morning about eight o'clock, evidently freshly killed. From the appearance of the skull and the softness of the bones I should judge it to be a young one.
