june 1915 25 Yosemite, Calif. disappeared. They were too young to have left the nest voluntarily. June 29 The junco's nest on the beam at cottage 6 fell to the ground today, apparently blown off the beams, and with it came two fresh junco eggs. I replaced the nest. Willard picked up a Gopher Snake about 18 inches long near the playground today. We released it as an object lesson to a crowd of small boys! July 3 Visited the Blackbird's nest in the meadow; the eggs are still un-hatched. Looked into a Chipping Sparrow's nest two feet up in a wild rose bush by the flag pole in the school yard and found two tiny young. July 4 Climbed to Columbia Point this afternoon. Found many
