The muskrat as 1317 was shot on a platform of sticks raised a couple of inches above the surface of the water in the reservoir. The platform rested on a submerged Quail Brush lusk, the platform consisted of short sticks 1/3 inch in diamete and matted together with mud + droppings. I saw a Bob cat twight across the canal but a shot of sips only hastened its speed. It seem very large and of a Greyish hue. (C) Caracara stole bait from one of my traps this morning as I saw him eating it and found what was left when he flew off.
