Green 1928 130 Five miles East of Cero Prieto 30 ft. Lower Califi Mexico Feb. 6, 1928 20 mouse + rat traps caught 1D + 1 ? peromyscus. two steel sets caught nothing. 1317 andative Musk Rat ♂ 731.4g 465-190-65-12 Shot on platform of quail brushsticks. 1318 Endolana " " ♂ 619.5g 437-184-70-15 Shot while swimming in tulles. 1319 Sonoran Redwing ♂ 69.g Shot while flying over pond. The muskrat as 1317 was shot on a platform of sticks raised a couple of inches above the surface of the water in the reservoir. The platform rested on a submerged Quail Brush lusk, the platform consisted of short sticks 1/3 inch in diamete and matted together with mud + droppings. I saw a Bob cat twight across the canal but a shot of sips only hastened its speed. It seem very large and of a Greyish hue. (C) Caracara stole bait from one of my traps this morning as I saw him eating it and found what was left when he flew off.
