Five steel sets caught 1 cottontail + 1♂ + 1♀ Mephitis. not cataloged - for deposit elsewhere. 1294 Yela Woodpecker ♀ 58 g Shot on cottonwood tree man top. 1295 Perognathus ♀ 19 g 188-103-27-6 remiculator the caught in dead broken armureed. 1296 Mephitis ♂ 5½ lbs. 680-260-80-16 Caught on desert ¼ mile from water. 1297 ♀ 2½ lbs. 595-275-68-14 Caught on desert ⅓ mile further. 1298 Dipodomys Deserti ♂ 122.5 g 345-200-57-15 Caught near burrow in sand. 1299 ♀ 123 g 353-194-59-16 Caught at mouth of burrow in sand. 1300 Meremi ♂ 39 g 245-145-38-12 Caught in sand on desert. 1301 ♀ 34 g 230-133-37-12 Caught in sand on desert. 1302 Western Horned Owl♀ 1195.5 g Shot as it flew from cottonwood. 1303 Lizard Found in sand buried, I found it when I dug down to set a coyote trap. A coyote killed a rabbit 5 yds. from one of my traps and left it half eaten. Closed it for bait hoping to catch it.
