Jan. 24/28 35 mouse + rat traps caught 5 & + 5 f Dipodomys Meremi, 1 f + 1 & Dipodomys Deserti, 1 & + 1 f peromyscus, 1 & Onychomys. Steele caught nothing. 1250 Onychomys & 25.5 g 144-52-21-7 caught in sand & silt in open. 1251 Dipodomys Deserti 118.g 312-180-52-19 caught near burrow in sand. 1252 Meremi f 33.g 227-134-38-11 caught near burrow in sand. 1253 Titati Red-mapped Sapsucker f 58.5 g shot on top of Cottonwood tree. 1254 House Wren Hd. & 12.5 g shot in quail bush. 1255 Red shafted Flicker & 153.g shot on outer limb of willow. 1256 Chrysal Crissal Thrasher Hd & 63.g shot on top of dead willows. 1257 Gambel Quail & 187.g shot while crossing road 1258 " " f 176.g shot while crossing road. today may steel sets caught one fitecler & a roadrunner. I took up one steel set & made my trap set out of another.
