My mouse & rat traps are set along
the river in Willows & cottonwood
Trees. The soil is sandy silt.

I set out two steel sets & 15-
mice mouse & rat traps tonight.
I caught a towhee & a Peromyscus
in my traps as daylight catchers.
Last night I heard & got a
glimpse of a screech owl by flash-
