Green 1928 1200 ft. South end of Valle de las Palmas Lower Calif, Mexico. 105 Jan. 9, 1928 Thirty mouse-cat traps caught 2♂+2♀ peromyscus. Seven steel sets caught nothing. But one set in sand under willows was dug up by a Racoons leaving both traps of the set exposed. 1174 Nuttall's Woodpecker ♀ 35. g shot from top of Willow sprout. 1175 Sylvilagus auduboni total tail Rabbit ♀ 397-95-90-95 shot in willow riparian bed. 1176 Peromyscus ♂ 22.2 g 157-64-21-10 caught under g. bush. 1177 Peromyscus ♀ 18. g 191-119-21-17 catught under rocky ledge. I took up one steel set and moved another from the side of the stream to a long stretch of sand, an old dry river bed overgrown with willows & arowweed. 1178 Sparrow Hawk ♀ 127. g Shot from top of Cottonwood. two.
