Green 1927 Five Mi. S. of Monument 258 West Coast of Lower Calif. Mex. Dec. 28, 1927 Thirty five mouse or rat traps caught 2 ♂ peromyscus, 1 ♂ Mus musculus, 4 ♂ & 6 ♀ Raithodontus rags, 1 ♀ Neotoma. Hour steel sets caught one male coon. The coon got away leaving two toes. This happened while I was starting to kill him. I had my gun there and an aux. at two yds in the chest had no effect and a charge of 20pes at 20yds failed to stop him before he vanished in the bush. 1114 Discarded Raithrodontmys ♂ 8.g 126-69-16-13 Discarded 1115 ♂ 11g 131-67-17-12 Caught in lover grassy spots in green. 1116 ♂ 11.2 g 130-65-17-13 Peromyscus F. ♂ 175-88-21-16 Caught on side of Arroyo Ingrasso. 1117 maniculatus B. ♂ 24.5g 163-66-21-16 Caught on edge of Arroyo. 1118 Neotoma ♀ 154.g 310-193-25-24 Caught lay nest incaustus. Relaisted all traps tonight.
